Linda Raschke began her professional trading career in 1981, making markets in options as a member of both the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. In 1992, she became a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), and since then has built a remarkable career spanning decades in the futures and equities markets.

Linda has served as the principal trader for several hedge funds and launched her own hedge fund in 2002, for which she was also the Commodity Pool Operator (CPO). Her fund was ranked 17th out of 4,500 for the best 5-year performance by BarclaysHedge. Her exceptional achievements earned her recognition in Jack Schwager’s Market Wizards series, which is widely regarded as one of the most influential trading book series in the world. Although Linda retired as a CTA and CPO in 2015, she continues to trade for her own account.

She is also co-author of Street Smarts: High Probability Trading Strategies for the Futures and Equities Markets with Laurence A. Connors, a staple resource for traders worldwide.

She has been featured in numerous financial publications, radio shows, and television programs. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Market Technicians Association and was a two-term President of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts.

Linda has lectured and presented research for respected global organizations, including: The Managed Futures Association, The American Association of Professional Technical Analysts, The International Federation of Technical Analysts, The Market Technicians Association, Bloomberg, Dow Jones to name a few.
